Hamlin Lake
Located in the center of Smethport Borough, Hamlin lake invites visitors to picnic, fish, canoe, and explore. Scenic hiking and snowmobiling trails in the hills surrounding the lake are open all year.

Kinzua Sky Walk
Take a walk in the clouds along what remains of the Kinzua rail-bridge. Open daily, this free state park site is located minutes outside of Mt. Jewett on hwy 6.

Mansion District Walking Tour
Step back in time with Smethport’s Mansion District. This self-guided walking tour highlights the historic homes in our area that date back to the mid-1800s.

McKean County Historical Society
The Old Jail Museum in Smethport houses the county’s historical society. Stop in for a tour or join us during one of our educational programs to discover the diverse history of our area.
